Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves, too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favour all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his way. I have learned a deep respect for one of Goethe's couplets: "Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it."
Quotation from The Scottish Himalayan Expedition, by W.H. Murray, published by J.M.Dent & Sons., 1951 I started my life/work coaching practice in 1995, inspired by a real desire to support those who wanted to strike out in new directions, or who wanted to make lasting change in their lives – but weren’t sure how to go about such a quest. Since that time, my clients have amazed me with their enthusiasm, bravery and willingness to take the next step toward a more fulfilled life, personally and professionally.
All businesses grow and change, and my coaching practice demonstrates such development. Increasingly I am seeking to bring together my life as a writer with my commitment to coaching, transitioning from business environments to working with those who have chosen the artists’ life. As a coach I am engaged by those who want to establish clear intentions for their artistic endeavors, to support and encourage so that they sustain a level of energy and empowerment which is demonstrated in work that is rewarding, inspiring – and finished! Following a foundation course with The Coaches Training Institute, I later trained for a year with Julio Olalla of The Newfield Network, the premier coaching organization in the USA, where I became a Certified Ontological Coach. At the present time Jacqueline is unable to take on clients, however, she would be delighted to offer a referral for those interested in coaching. For further information, please
