Pardonable Lies wins the Macavity/Sue Feder Best Historical Mystery Award Jacqueline's third novel, Pardonable Lies has won the first Macavity/Sue Feder Best Historical Mystery Award. The award was instituted this year by Mystery Readers International in honor of the late Sue Feder -- reviewer, scholar and dedicated mystery fan -- and is in recognition of her tireless work in perpetuating and supporting historical mysteries. Sue passed away on September 9, 2005. |
